The current state of the economy is a growing concern and at the forefront of many business conversations. However, instead of focusing on the doom and gloom of 2008, we would like to focus on solutions and improvements that you are planning for 2009 that can help grow your business. Are there things that can be done better, simpler, more effectively, or more creatively? We should be looking to improve upon ideas and procedures that may have fallen by the wayside during the busy times. Evaluating and analyzing internal processes and procedures are probably on many agendas in order to gain more effective results with limited budgets? Here are a few of the questions you may be asking yourself or others in your organization: |
 |
- What can we do to generate more sales leads?
- How can we improve conversion rates?
- Is there a better way to monitor response?
- Are there new methods we can use?
- Is our customer service top notch? |
- Do our marketing materials need to be updated?
- Do we need more employee training materials?
- Is there anything we can outsource?
- How can we streamline our efforts and reduce cost?

Words of Inspiration:
"I know the price of success: dedication, hard work, and an unremitting devotion to the
things you want to see happen."
- Frank Lloyd Wright

New Solution: - On-Demand Streaming Video Delivery |
Now that a majority of Internet users are connecting via a broadband connection, more and more marketers are using streaming video to instruct, interact, and communicate with their audience. In fact, online streaming video is growing rapidly from an estimated 563 million currently to a predicted 941 million viewers within the next 4 years. According to a recent study published by e-marketer, many marketing professionals are planning to allocate a part of their budget to online video in 2009.
Many current solutions allow you to put video on your website, but you may run into limitations because of the amount of bandwidth being used. Let's say that you have a new product or service you are launching. You want to promote this with a video online, but your video gets bogged down because you have too many people trying to view the video at the same time. This can make your launch less successful because viewers simply cannot see all or any of your promotional video. As a user, they might decide to stop trying to view your promotion, or they might decide to look elsewhere altogether. |
 |
Understanding this and the importance for you to have reliable solutions, we have expanded our digital media services to offer hosting of streaming video that allows for constant streaming of video, and it runs seamlessly no matter how many users are downloading or viewing the content. This can help assure that your videos are being seen, and are working at optimal performance.
We have also added a few new production capabilities to the mix for creating content and web 2.0 integration: videography & post production editing, html or flash web page design & hosting, and html email marketing to accompany an on-demand streaming delivery.
Adding video to your communication strategy can be a powerful tool for sales, corporate communications, training, product demonstrations and promotional marketing. So whether you have existing video content or would like to create something new, Corporate Disk has the resources that can get the job done quickly and economically. | 8 SIMPLE TIPS: Setting up your CD or DVD artwork for silk screening |
- Solids and line art reproduce best and can allow exact PMS color matching
- Avoid very thin lines as they will break up
- Halftone images will almost always require a base coat of white to show clearly
- For best typeface reproduction, avoid small serif fonts - especially avoid small fonts over screens or halftones - the edge of the fonts will be bumpy
- Halftone, duotone & graduated screens will always have some moire(interference pattern)
- Try to avoid graduated screens where the screen density falls under 10%
- Process color printing (CMYK) requires a 5th color flood white
- Consider using the silver of the disc to show through a solid color for a cool effect
